The final verdict is a warning letter to my flatmate-from-hell to leave by this coming Thursday morning. According to my landlord, she had pleaded for a 2nd chance which was declined. She asked for a further one week extension which was also declined. I have not given my landlord my decision because I can still choose to leave. Obviously, landlord is trying his best to persuade me to stay on.

I agreed to assess the situation till the end of week. There is no guarantee she is going to leave quietly or cause no further disruption. I was worried for many things which could be outside my control and my colleague reminded me that *If it is something that will happen, it will happen regardless how much you do to avoid it*. So, I choose to stop worrying and take it as it is. The useful lesson this time is that I have met someone like her and became aware of the type of people on earth...in this scenario, an extreme one. It made me appreciate how lucky I am in most aspect in comparison to her misfortune. BUT I am not going to look after her given what harm she had caused to me without consideration.

It felt like a long time but in fact it was only since 4 weeks ago....when these all started. It was a lonely journey but I came out feeling stronger.

I was not that brave last night, I must admit. I did not know how she would react with the notice from the landlord. Fear of returning home...but I chose to return to face it. I had packed some essential items in case I had to stay out for a few nights. My colleague had also offer her place in case I need to. So I returned last night with no issue. She was indeed drunk inside her room moaning about her misfortune with her mate. The guy sounded sober so I gather he was there for support and made sure she went to sleep before leaving the flat. So it wasn't as bad as I had imagined for day 1. I was able to sleep with no ear plug on..that is an improvement.

A friend was overly concerned about my safety last night knowing what kind of person (and her mates) were like (suspected a case of drug, alcohol and physical abuse but cannot be proven easily) and insisted I should stay out of the flat because they could be dangerous especially when drunk. Mahahaha...for the first time, I laughed. It is so easy to think of the worst and that was how I was over the past few weeks. The suggestions that follow on was having pepper spray under my pillow and some tips how to self defence in case they harass me. So I did go to sleep with a spray, attack alarm and phones handy. Thank goodness I have locks on my door.
